Volunteers Complete Phase 1 of the WW1 Park Restoration Project
The WW1 Park Restoration Update:
The WW1 Park in North Attleboro, MA, is an important historical site that and local hub that has become a staple of our community. But over time, the park’s fence around the old deer pen had fallen into disrepair, with old barbed wire posing a danger to visitors and threatening the integrity of the site.
Thankfully, a group of our dedicated volunteers stepped up to help preserve this important piece of history. These volunteers, with gloves and wire cutters in hand, spent hours carefully removing the barbed wire from the fence. This work is making the area safer and more accessible for visitors.
We’re so grateful for the hard work and dedication of these volunteers. Their efforts remind us of the importance of community service and preservation of our parks. By working together, we can ensure that important sites like the WW1 park continue to serve as symbol of the beautiful nature around us.
