Who We Are
Mission Statement
Our mission is to improve and preserve public and natural spaces in North Attleboro and beyond
What We Are Doing
Friends of North Attleboro Parks’ goal is to gather volunteers from our community, people just like you, who have a drive to preserve and improve the natural beauty of North Attleboro through community driven conservation projects. We work with schools and other organizations to complete various projects throughout the community. These projects are focused on parks and other natural spaces in the area. Projects include removing fallen brush or fences, constructing walking paths and observation areas and general cleanup. We are always looking for new volunteers!
Founding and History
We were founded by a group of Eagle Scouts and former Scouters. Originating from North Attleboro and the surrounding area, we were always inspired by the numerous gorgeous parks and recreation areas in our community. We started this organization to give back to that community by restoring and, in many cases, amplifying our favorites outdoor spaces. We started with Eagle Projects and school events and charge forward to large scale preservation, supported by our very own neighbors, like you!
